With a suitcase full of dreams and a guitar on her shoulders, This is Elle, the artistic project of Roman-born singer-songwriter Laura Pizzicannella, began her musical journey at the age of three. By fourteen, she was already writing her own songs. An artist with a truly international outlook, Elle has performed across Italy, Europe, Japan, Tunisia, and beyond, allowing different cultures, sounds, and experiences to shape her constantly evolving artistic identity. She chooses English as her main language of expression, using her powerful soprano voice to create music that reaches beyond borders. 

Her sound moves freely between Indie, Dream Pop, Ethereal Pop, Alternative, and Rock, creating a distinctive and atmospheric world that resists easy categorization. More than a singer-songwriter, Elle is a storyteller and sound explorer, transforming emotions, travels, encounters, and personal discoveries into music. Her live performances are an immersive experience; audiences dance, laugh, cry, and look forward. Elle’s music is not simply something to listen to, but an experience to live through and recognize yourself in. On October 31st, 2025, she released The Other Side, an EP accompanied by six interconnected music videos on YouTube, forming a compelling visual and narrative journey.

Her work has already attracted notable attention. In 2025, Elle was invited by iconic Italian music journalist Red Ronnie to appear on the final episode of Nuovo Roxy Bar and on his show We Have a Dream. Her song “Gold” was also selected as the main theme and soundtrack of the Amazon Prime series Fighters, produced by Zut Film Production and directed by Leonardo Santoleri. Authentic, international, and fiercely independent, This is Elle is building a world of her own, one song, one story, and one emotional journey at a time.
